What documents we accept for Source of Funds verification

To verify your affordability, we may require additional documentation (Advanced Verification) at any stage of your journey, this request will come from us and will ask for one of the below documents.

  • Use a PDF: Make sure it’s clear, uncut, and easy to read. (No Screenshots)

  • Double‑check your details: Your name, date, and income should match across all documents.

Customer Status

Acceptable SOF

If you’re employed by a company/individual: 

  • Most recent payslip OR latest P60 in PDF format, or

  • Most recent bank statement in PDF format showing income paid in matching the payslip / P60 provided

If you’re self-employed or own a company: 

Full business accounts prepared by a qualified accountant.

Bank Statements 3 months of statements from:

  • Your personal account (if you pay yourself drawings/dividends)

  • Your business bank account (showing business income transactions)

Dividends

  • Dividend vouchers

If you’re on benefits:

  • An official current letter confirming your entitlement from Department of work and pensions, and;

  • Most recent bank statement in PDF format showing your benefits being paid in.

If you receive a pension: 

  • A recent official document confirming your pension entitlement e.g. pension statement, and;

  • Most recent bank statement in PDF format showing your pension being paid in

If you have an inheritance / insurance payout / trust fund:

  • An official solicitor OR insurance letter confirming the payment amount, and;

  • Most recent bank statement in PDF format showing your payment being paid in.

If you are using your savings: 

  • A brief explanation as to how savings have been accrued, and;

  • The 3 most recent bank statement in PDF format showing available funds 

If you are using funds from a sale of property: 

A completion statement from a solicitor confirming proof of sale, and;

The bank statement in PDF format showing funds received from sale being paid into your account.
