Policy on Cancelling or Refunding Bets on The Pools
Once a bet is placed on The Pools, it generally cannot be cancelled, deleted, or refunded, but you may wish to utilise the cash out facility, if available to you. This rule applies to all bets, regardless of whether they were placed by mistake or under special circumstances. Below is a guide to understanding this policy:
General Rules for Cancelling or Refunding Bets
Once a bet has been placed, it is considered final and cannot be cancelled. This includes bets placed by mistake or due to user error.
Refunds for bets are not permitted, even if the event associated with the bet has not yet started. Duplicate bets or errors during placement also fall under this rule.
Specific Scenarios
Mistaken Bets: Placement errors, such as selecting the wrong option, cannot be amended once confirmed.
Duplicate Bets: Additional bets placed accidentally after an initial correct placement will not be refunded. In certain cases, users may have an option to utilise the Cash Out feature, where available.
In-Play or Suspended Events: Bets placed during breaks or in-play situations are also final and cannot be voided.
Exceptions
While the policy is strict, in rare cases of pre-match events, The Pools team may review the details of a request for cancellation. However, users should note that cancellation is not guaranteed and depends entirely on the outcome of the review.
By adhering to this policy, The Pools ensures fairness and consistency for all users. Be sure to review every selection before confirming a bet to avoid errors.
