What are net deposits?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Net deposits represent the difference between the total amount you have deposited and the total amount you have withdrawn using a specific payment method, such as a card or PayPal.

This concept is central to the 'net deposit rule,' which mandates that any funds deposited must first be withdrawn to the same payment method before accessing additional funds. For instance, if you deposited £50 using a debit card and your account balance is now £200, you would first need to withdraw £50 to the same debit card before accessing and withdrawing the remaining £150.

This ensures that the funds you deposit from a particular card or PayPal account are returned to the same card or PayPal account, in line with our closed loop payment method.
